Martin Bartholomew

Martin is a freelance business intercultural specialist and management coach who works regularly with two leading global mobility companies. A British national currently living on the south coast of UK near London, he brings more than 35 years of management, business and language teaching to this role. He is particularly interested in helping US corporations, teams and individuals companies to operate better in UK and wider Europe.

After serving as a Royal Navy aircrew officer, Martin followed a successful management career to director level in IT/telecoms and other technologies. Among other jobs, he was VP EMEA for a US East Coast telecoms engineering company, and Geschäftsführer/Executive Chairman of a satellite communications company bought out from Deutche Telekom.  He has worked in small, large and very large organisations at all stages of their lifecycle, including mergers & acquisitions.

He has a published management book, and the following formal qualifications: Masters Degree (Management) from the University of Kent, Fellow of the British Chartered Management Institute, Certified Director (UK Institute of Directors), Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults (University of Cambridge).
